Nemanja Vidic has sent a warning to Marseille saying that Manchester United will win at Old Trafford.
The Reds secured a 0-0 draw in southern France last night to set up a tense night in Manchester on March 15.
Sir Alex Ferguson’s side were professional in a dour match at the Stade Velodrome. But captain Nemanja Vidic believes the Reds will show their true colours back in England.
“We have to go for it at Old Trafford,” said the Serbian defender. “It will be a different game at home. We have to attack. This year we have played well at home.
“We have scored a lot of goals in front of our own fans and had some very good results. That is what we need to produce.
“At Manchester United we always go to win games so we cannot be over-happy. A draw is not bad but it was not what we always set out to do.
“We have a winning mentality but we shouldn’t be too disappointed either.
