VIDIC ENJOYING CAPTAIN'S ROLE
Nemanja Vidic has said that he is enjoying the role of captaining Manchester United. Manager Sir Alex Ferguson handed the armband to the Serbian at the start of the season and the team have made an excellent start this term. United reclaimed top spot in the Barclays Premier League on Monday by beating Arsenal and stretching their unbeaten start to the season to 16 top-flight matches - a club record.
"I feel very proud," Nemanja Vidic told United Review. "It came as a bit of a surprise but I am enjoying the role. You have to think about your responsibilities - your behaviour, the way you play, the way you train. I know that I need to set a good Soccer example on and off the pitch."
