VIDIC MISSES OUT

Nemanja Vidic will be miss out from Manchester United’s next 2 matches after his harsh tackle on Chelsea’s Eden Hazard saw him receiving a red card. The player and the club later tried to appeal against the red card but it was rejected and the Football Association already stated a response stating: “The player’s three-match suspension commences with immediate effect.”

The Serbian defender is going to miss out from Manchester United’s Premier League matches against Cardiff City and Stoke City.

This is another huge blow for David Moyes and the struggling team that each week seems to do worse, considering they are out of the top 5 spots of the Premier League and already eliminated from the Capital One Cup as well as the FA Cup as they were defeated against Sunderland and Swansea City.

CRISIS

Manchester United’s defensive crisis under David Moyes has largely been down to a constantly changing the four due to the injuries for the likes of Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand. Now that the club captain Nemanja Vidic has recovered sufficiently fitness in order to play regularly, the defensive performance of the team is expected to improve.

However, Moyes has stated that no player will get differential treatment because of the work they have done in the past. This means that Nemanja Vidic will have to work hard as every other player in order to be sure of a starting place.
